are designed for restaurant use, utilizing a durable, impermeable, and stain-resistant epoxy grout between the talavera tiles. Our rustic chairs are made from either oak or pine, and are fully reinforced for commercial use. Our equipales are fumigated and lacquered and made from high quality pig leather. Hand-Painted Talavera Tile Tables
Our tile tables
are made with authentic, hand-painted talavera tiles from Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico. Talavera is a glazing technique brought to Mexico from Spain in the second half of the sixteenth century. Each piece of talavera is hand-painted and fired twice.
We provide our customers with the ability to customize their tile tables
by choosing from a variety of tile colors and prints. In addition, a highly durable, impermeable, and stain-resistant epoxy grout is used on all of our tile tables. Several different wood stains are also available.
Rustic Wooden Chairs
All of our rustic chairs are made of either oak or pine and are reinforced with corner brackets to withstand heavy commercial use. Our chairs have a very Spanish colonial look and are very economical.
Wrought Iron Chairs
The unique designs, versatility, and strength of our wrought iron chairs make them ideal for use in Mexican restaurants, either indoors or outdoors. These chairs are light-weight, yet extremely durable. Our wrought iron chairs come complete with a wooden seat, which is polyurethaned for protection and cleanability, and rubber foot pads. Our wrought iron chairs are available in a variety of colors and styles.
Equipales
Equipal comes from the ancient Aztec word
icpalli, which means “place to sit”. The traditional equipal chair seen in many restaurants is often referred to as a
butaca. The equipal butaca is incredibly strong and resilient. Equipales have been consistently used and tested in restaurants throughout Mexico and the United States. In addition our equipales are fumigated, lacquered, and made from high quality pig leather.
